Meet Don
Don Macfarlane is a PGA Advanced Professional who coaches at the East Cork Golf Club, where he is the Head Professional. Don Macfarlane is a qualified PGA teaching professional and has coached both the Munster Provincial & National teams. Don’s many professional Golf achievements include:
• 2004 Winner of Dungarvan Pro Am
• 2002 Winner of Monsktown Pro Am
• 2000 Winner of Douglas Pro Am
• 1997 Winner of Munster Grand Prix
• 1996 Winner of Lombard Top Club Trophy of Ireland & represented Ireland in Portugal that year.
Don offers tailored lessons to players of all abilities at affordable prices. As a result of this, Don is personal coach to a broad range of golfers from both the amateur and professional game. Don also maintains a fully stocked pro shop (brands include Ian Poulter, Titleist, Callaway, Footjoy, Cobra, Nike) and offers Putting Machine facilities.
Don is also a member of the Y.M.G (Young Master Golf), a structured form of coaching with 8 levels for Juniors aged 6-16 years. YMG golf camps run thoughout the school holidays.
